Official: Ange Postecoglou appointed as new Tottenham manager until June 2027

Tottenham Hotspur has officially appoint Ange Postecoglou as the club’s new head coach on a four-year deal.
The Australian to manager will join Spurs on July 1 after two years at Celtic where he won back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles and a domestic treble this season.
The 2015 AFC Asian Cup winner with the Socceroos joined Celtic following three seasons with Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan, where he secured the J.League title in his second season – the club’s first Championship success in 15 years.
Daniel Levy, the Spurs chairman, said of the incoming head coach: “Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play.
“He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy – everything that is important to our club.
“We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead.” He said.
Spurs considered Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and Fulham head coach Marco Silva before settling on Postecoglou last week.
Postecoglou takes over as permanent Spurs manager from Antonio Conte, who was fired in March. Cristian Stellini, and then Ryan Mason, took over as acting head coach for the remaining parts of the season and will later hand over to the new manager.
