A renowned Nigerian Professor of communication at the Lagos State University (LASU) Lai Oso, has died in a car accident.
According to a report, Prof Oso, who was a former lecturer at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye and currently a Professor of communication, Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, died in a motor accident in Ijebu axis along Ore-Sagamu expressway on Saturday evening.
Confirming the news to i-News Nigeria correspondent, a student of Mass Communication in the institution said, “He was coming from Delta State University (DELSU) where he was an external examiner at the department of Mass communication.”
A colleague in the Department of English confirmed the sad news to i-News Nigeria.
“The university has not made a statement, but I read about it online,” the lecture told our correspondent.
