The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), a renowned institution in agricultural studies in Africa, has attained a remarkable milestone in the inaugural Times Higher Education’s (THE) Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings of 2023.
Out of Nigeria’s 258 universities, FUNAAB secured the second position and ranked 26th among universities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
According to a report, the rankings evaluate the top universities in Sub-Saharan Africa based on five performance indicators: ‘access and fairness’, ‘Africa impact’, ‘teaching skills’, ‘student engagement’, and ‘resources and finance’.
