The management of Kano Pillars football had announced the dissolution of the technical staff and players of the club with immediate effect.
This follows the decision of the club of not renewing the one year contract agreement with the staff and players which has come to an immediate end.
According to the club’s spokesman, Lurwanu Idris Malikawa, the 1 year technical crew contractual deal with the club expired at the end of the recently ended 2023 Nigeria National League season.
The Sai masu gida finished second in the NNL promotion playoffs and was promoted to the Nigeria Premier League for the 2023/2024 season.
Malikawa said that the management thanked the technical crew and the players for their contributions in promoting the former league winners back to the apex club competition in Nigeria and wished them success in future endeavors.
He explained that any member of the outgoing technical crew that are interested to continue working with the club should submit his application to the Secretariat.
Kano pillars is now on break, and players whose contracts with the club have expired will not return to camp until they are recalled by the management.
Training has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2023, instead of Monday, August 17, 2023 as earlier indicated.
