The National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, has stated that the security challenges facing the country should be of concern to all Nigerians.
The NSA said this in Abuja when he received the executive and members of the Adamawa Community Association on a congratulatory visit.
Malam Nuhu Ribadu emphasized that the role entrusted to him as National Security Adviser was the most critical task because the entire nation was praying for peace and security.
The NSA assured that, despite the huge expectations, he would fulfill his responsibilities professionally, with dedication, and patriotism to safeguard the nation’s security for everybody.
He urged all Nigerians, particularly the Adamawa Community, to support the Federal Government’s efforts to rid the country of all criminal activities.
On his part, Alhaji Bawuro Yahya, President of the Adamawa Community Association, congratulated the National Security Adviser on his appointment and charged him to be a worthy ambassador of the state while carrying out his responsibilities.
The Adamawa Community Association, according to Alhaji Bawuro Yahya, would work closely with him to ensure that he fulfills his job effectively.
He extended gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for selecting the son of Adamawa for the delicate position of National Security Adviser, and expressed hope that Malam Nuhu Ribadu will fulfill his mandate as and how expected.
