Saudi Arabia football giant, Al Hilal, have made a world-record £259m bid to sign French star, Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG have put Mbappe up for sale and left him out of their squad for the pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea, according to Sky Sports.
The French aides have made it clear they only want to include players who are committed to the club.
PSG have not only received the only record-breaking bid from Al Hilal. They’ve also been approached with a variety of offers for Mbappe, including cash and players, but Al Hilal have demonstrated their intent by presenting a record bid for the player.
No fewer than five clubs have shown interest in the player with the interested clubs including Chelsea, Tottenham, Man United, Inter Milan and Barcelona.
The forward has one year left on his contract and is unwilling to sign a new one. His club believed he had accepted the offer to join Spanish powerhouse, Real Madrid, for free in 2024.
With the latest development, Real Madrid may likely come up with convincing bids to secure the signature of the French football sensation.
Meanwhile,PSG has been accused by France’s players’ union of ethically bullying Mbappe and has been threatened with legal action to preserve the rights of the striker.
