The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kwara state command says it has put in place measures to ensure adequate protection of critical national assets across the state.
The state commandant of the corps commandant, Umar Muhammed, stated this while addressing newsmen at the command Headquarters in Ilorin.
According to him the command will ensure zero tolerance for Vandalisation of critical national assets and other criminal activities in the state.
Commandant Umar explained that “all personnels have been given the required training and equipments to enable them discharge their duties as expected.”
He noted that “the Agro Rangers department has also been reinvigorated to provide the necessary security for farmers and herders to ensure food sufficiency in the state and the country in general.”
The NSCDC boss maintained that the Agro Rangers will ensure amicable resolution of disputes that may arise between farmers, herders and other members of the community to prevent crisis.
He urged the residents of the state to volunteer information to the corps to enable it succeed.
