Tinubu Returns To Abuja Following Successful AU Summit Unveiling Details

President Bola Tinubu, having left Addis Ababa on Monday morning, touched down in Abuja at approximately 3:40 pm the same afternoon.

During his stay in Ethiopia, the Nigerian leader actively engaged in the 44th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council, participated in bilateral meetings, and attended various events on the sidelines of the AU summit.

Tinubu collaborated with fellow African leaders in high-level discussions addressing institutional reforms within the African Union, matters of peace and security, and specific thematic issues such as climate change. Additionally, he contributed to deliberations on the modalities of participation and priorities of the continental body in the G20.

Accompanied by several ministers and high-ranking government officials, the President spent three days in the East African country.

The overarching theme of this year’s summit is “Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa.
