I Am Not Afraid Of Death – Remi Tinubu

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, has boldly declared that age has rendered her immune to the fear of death. Her fearless proclamation took place during the inauguration of an Alternative High School and ICT center in Bauchi.

Addressing the audience at the Emir of Bauchi’s palace, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, Senator Tinubu expressed gratitude for the assurance of safety extended by His Excellency. Despite recent death threats issued by a cleric, Sunusi Abubakar, against the President’s wife, she asserted her lack of fear, citing her 60 years of life as a testament to God’s grace.

“I want to thank His Excellency for assuring me that I am safe, but what I said is that I am too old to be afraid. If God has granted me 60 years, I think I shouldn’t be afraid of death, but I thank God I had the courage to come,” remarked the First Lady.

Emphasizing the need for unity in Nigeria, Senator Tinubu urged the populace to come together during challenging times. She acknowledged the importance of prayer for the nation and expressed optimism that God would answer those prayers. The First Lady concluded her statement by reaffirming her commitment to official duties and extending royal respect to the Emir of Bauchi for the warm reception received during her visit.
