Chief Yekini Adeojo, a prominent political figure and respected traditional leader, has passed away. He died on Friday morning in Ibadan.

Chief Adeojo was the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and held the prestigious title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland. He was also a notable chieftain in Ibadan.

Adeojo was one of the founding members of the PDP in Oyo State and the father of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the current Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government.
