Oke-Ogun Agitation: Leadership Injustice at Fault, Says BAÀMEKO

The Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland, an Aspiring candidate of the Governorship race under the umbrella of APC, recent interview, attributed the ongoing agitation in Oke-Ogun region to leadership injustice rather than the people.

Speaking on Splash FM’s State Affairs and Success FM’s Front Burner, Saheed Oladele emphasized the need for equal development across the state.

Oladele, a strong advocate for balanced development, promised to develop all 33 local governments in Oyo State simultaneously if given the opportunity.

If you have a governor who develops all regions equally, nobody will be agitating for any region to take over, he said.

The Baàmẹ̀kọ́ criticized past leaders for neglecting Oke-Ogun, citing the lack of a university in the region as a glaring example of inequality.

How can there be 10 solid local governments without a single university?” he lamented.

In a call for equal opportunities, Oladele’s message is clear stating that every region deserves equal opportunities and basic amenities.

He believes that by addressing these disparities, agitation will cease, and joy will come to all regions in Oyo State.

While speaking Donna new era of development, Baàmẹ̀kọ́’s statement has sparked hope among Oyo State residents, particularly those in Oke-Ogun, who are eager for change and equal development.

As the state looks towards a brighter future, Oladele’s promise of balanced development could be the key to unlocking the region’s potential.
