The Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora has thrown its weight behind Honourable Adewale Olatunji Murphy, who is the All Progressives Congress APC candidate, contesting the House of Representatives seat for Ibadan North Federal constituency bye election coming up this Saturday, 16th August, 2025.

The Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora consists of Associates and Colleagues of Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu which cuts across the globe.
The Chief Coordinator, Bushie Ferrari expressed their solidarity with Honorable Adewale Olatunji Murphy, citing his closeness and age long relationship with Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, as a significant factor in their decision.
Recall that the seat became vacant following the death of Hon. Olaide Akinremi ‘Jagaban’, a member of the party, who until his death was the lawmaker representing the federal constituency.
The Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora submitted that Honourable Adewale Olatunji Murphy has a strong capacity and ability to sustain the representation Ibadan North Federal consistency deserves, determined to honour Hon. Jagaban’s legacy with renewed vigour.
The Chief Coordinator Bushie Ferrari implored the electorate to turn out en masse this coming Saturday, to secure his victory and safeguard the constituency from regression that could arise from entrusting its future to others.
The group said people should look beyond the Bye-Election and vote for APC to appreciate the good work President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing across the Nation.
“We believe that Hon. Murphy’s dedication to public service and his experience in governance make him an ideal candidate for this election,” the Chief Coordinator stated.
The Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora emphasized that Murphy’s great contributions to All Progressives Congress, APC, and connection with Chief Adelabu would be beneficial in securing federal projects and resources for the constituency.
“With Chief Adelabu’s influence in the power sector and his commitment to development, we are confident that Hon. Murphy will be able to leverage this relationship to drive progress in Ibadan North,” the Team noted.
The Team explained that its support and endorsement is a boost to Murphy’s campaign, given the Minister’s reputation and influence in Oyo State politics.
According to the Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora Chief Coordinator, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has been instrumental in driving development initiatives in Oyo State, particularly in the power sector, and the APC support is expected to translate into votes for Murphy.
