Commitment to work pivotal to national development — Imam Adam
An Imam of the Abuja National Mosque, Dr. Muhammad Kabir Adam, has called on civil servants to remain committed in their various places of work to contribute effectively to national development.
Dr. Muhammad Kabir Adams stated this at a special Jummaat service to commemorate this year’s civil service week and 20th anniversary of the National Agency Against Trafficking in Person, NAPTIP.
In a sermon, the Imam who noted that the job of a civil servants entails sacrifice and commitment, urged them to continue to do good in whatever position they found themselves for the advancement of the service.
He also frowned on citizens who engage in human trafficking, noting that “such act is against the dignity of human beings.”
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, represented by the permanent secretary ministry of Humanitarian, Disaster management and Social Development, Dr. Sani Gwarzo, said “the implementation of the revised public service rules would be carried out in a humane manner.”
