The chairman of Political Awareness Group PAG, a group of Muslim professionals, artisans, traders, and politically conscious Muslims, Dr. Lukman .T. Fasasi, has congratulated the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial district, Barrister Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli, over his victory at the Court of Appeal, in the defence of the mandate given to him by the electorate.

The chairman urged the Senator to extend his hands of fellowship to all those who exercised their civic rights in challenging his victory at the polls which has helped to further authenticate his mandate. They have indeed deepened the democratic process.

Dr Fasasi urged Senator Alli to rededicate himself to quality representation, in terms of legislation, that will promote the growth and development of the district in particular, and Oyo state in general.

He stated that the victory at the appellate court has thus removed any legal impediment to his delivery of dividends of democracy to the people he is representing.

Dr Fasasi also prayed for the victory, at the appellate court, of the other two Senators, who are also members of the PAG assembly, representing Oyo North and Oyo Central Senatorial districts, Sen Abdul Fatai Omotayo Buhari and Dr. Yunus Abiodun Akintunde respectively.
