It was pay back time and Celebration at Islamic High School, Orita- Basorun, Ibadan on Tuesday 7th November, 2023 at the inauguration of Projects to mark 50th Birthday Anniversary of an Alumnus: Engr. Dayo Akinyemi of 1989 Set.

The Projects inaugurated by the Representative of the Honourable Commissioner for Education, L.I.E., Mr. Lukman Okesade consist of 60 pairs of Students Funrniture,10 Teachers’ Tables, 30 Teachers’ Chairs, 5 Brand New Laptops, 10 Big Black Drums, 4 Dozens of Kettles, and Repairs and installation of new accessories for 15 Computers.

The ceremony also witnessed unveiling of Two newly Renovated Classrooms and One Staff Room.

The Celebrant, Engr. Dayo Akinyemi further promised the Provision of School Uniform, Bags, and Shoes for 25 Promising Students, as well as Yearly Scholarship Awards for overall best students in each class.

He offered to provide credible mentoring links for Science Students to be able to complete with their counterparts through out the World.

The event was attended by dignitaries which included the National President of the Old Students Association: Mr Lekan Popoola, Immediate Past National President: Professor Ishaq Omotosho, the National Secretary: Mr Lateef Lawal, School Governing Board Chairman: Dr Ismaila Razaq, School Principal: Mr Fasasi Abdullah and other members of the 1989 set.
