Pensioners FM General Manager, Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu on Wednesday 27th December 2023 has been honoured with a Special Recognition Award as ” 2023 Media Personality of the year in Oyo State’.

The Award was conferred on Dr Tiamiyu at the 2023 Oyo State Top Notch Nigeria Businesses and Professional Award, TNNBP, held in Ibadan on Wednesday.

Dr Tiamiyu who appreciated the convener of the event, Mr. Taiwo Adegboye for the surprise award, promised to keep on supporting all ideas targeted towards professionalism and societal development.

Dr Tiamiyu, who is also an author and Media Administrator described the award as a unique one, saying it goes a long way in encouraging business owners and professionals in their various fields of endeavor.

Earlier, the TNNBP Convener, Mr Taiwo Adegboye, said the “Special Recognition Award” was conferred on Dr Tiamiyu for being exceptionally unique in his chosen career as Topnotch broadcaster, journalist and above all mentor of younger generation in his field.

Mr Adegboye also appreciated the Pensioners FM General Manager for contributing to his own personal development and many others who have benefited from him at one point or the other.

High Point of the event was a special conversation on Challenges being faced by Business entrepreneurs and professionals in Nigeria.

Mr Adegboye, who lamented Business owners and Professionals were not well recognized in Nigeria, said that was the reason TNNBP Award was instituted.

Dr. Tiamiyu was accompanied to the epoch making event by Pensioners’ FM Head of English and Sports Presentation Unit, Mr. Eedris Abiola, a Broadcast media consultant, Mr. Opeyemi Adewale and the Coordinating Secretary, Our Home Our Heritage Support Initiative, OHOHSI, Comrade Kayode Atolani.
