The leadership of the Political Awareness Group, PAG, a socio-political group, expresses its heartfelt sympathy to the families of the deceased and injured victims of the explosion that rocked certain parts of Bodija in Ibadan, Oyo State, yesterday.

This was contained in a statement released in Ibadan on Wednesday by its Chairman, Dr Lukman Tunde Fasasi (Ph.D), while commending Governor Makinde’s swift reponse on the matter.

According to the statement, “We commiserate with the victims’ families and the whole of Ibadan people on this sad occurrence.

“Also, the swift response to the incident by the State Governor Engr Seyi makinde and the government is highly commendable, and we urge the government to do more to assist the victims and take decisive steps towards preventing a reoccurrence of such an incident in any part of the State”, Fasasi said.

PAG however, prayed for Allah’s continuous protection.
