Medical staff at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) are working tirelessly to rescue the life of four-year-old Faridat Shittu, who is in a critical condition following a cooking gas explosion that devastated her parents’ home at 1, Odubanwo Street, off Olaniyi Street, Gbinrinmi in Ojokoro LCDA, Lagos.

The incident, which took place on Sunday, February 4, 2024, has also left Faridat’s grandfather, grandmother, and uncle with varying degrees of burns, all of whom are currently receiving burn care.
