In a recent crackdown led by NAFDAC’s Investigation & Enforcement Directorate, the agency has intensified its operation against drug hawkers in the Apapa vicinity of Lagos State. This move is part of NAFDAC’s ongoing mission to combat the illicit distribution and sale of unauthorized pharmaceuticals.

During the operation, a significant number of drug hawkers were apprehended, and a substantial quantity of illicit drugs was confiscated. Among the seized items were aphrodisiacs, narcotic substances like tramadol, antibiotics, and various over-the-counter medications.
