An 18-seater bus operated by Big Joe Motors, which departed from Aduwawa Motor Park in Benin, Edo State, and was headed to Abuja, has been hijacked by kidnappers in Okene, Kogi state.

All occupants of the bus, including the driver, were abducted. Travelers are advised to exercise increased caution when passing through Okene, Kogi State, and surrounding areas.

Recall that in April, a similar incident occurred where kidnappers intercepted a fully loaded Toyota Sienna bus and abducted all its occupants.
