Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora Lauds Ongoing Electrification in Eruwa by Minister of Power

The Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora has described as laudable the installation of three new transformers and the erection of electricity poles across several communities in Eruwa, through the efforts of Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

According to reports, the benefiting locations include Oke-Ipin (School for the Deaf axis), Oke-Ipin (Ifelodun College axis) extending to Ilale and Oloparun along Ibadan Road, as well as the Isale Oba–Apode–Olorunsogo (Koko Obe)–Gaa Eleere to Oja-Oba Express axis.

In a statement by the Chief Coordinator, Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora, Bushie Ferrari, and the Director of Communications, Mr. Rasheed Alatishe, the information available at their disposal indicated that work is already at 70 percent completion, with massive deployment of poles and electrical infrastructure ongoing simultaneously across all three areas.

The group, comprising academics, technocrats, entrepreneurs, and young professionals across Europe, the Americas, and Africa, described the efforts of Chief Adebayo Adelabu as indelible in the history of Eruwa town which has been in darkness for many years.

“We Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora, wish to express our heartfelt appreciation for your tireless efforts in restoring electricity to Eruwa town in Oyo State. Your dedication to bridging Nigeria’s energy gap and ensuring sustainable development in underserved communities is truly commendable.”

The Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora pointed out that the project will boost small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), improve security and improve standard of living in the affected areas.

The Team commended the Minister’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians, particularly in Eruwa town.

“Your efforts are a testament to the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.”

The Chief Coordinator, Bushie Ferrari enjoined the Minister not to relent on his efforts at facilitating a dedicated mini-grid power project for Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, aims at providing a stable electricity supply to the institution.

According to Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora, this is expected to support academic activities, enhance research output, and promote innovation on campus.

The power projects in Eruwa are part of the Minister’s broader drive to bridge Nigeria’s energy gap, strengthen electrification efforts, and ensure sustainable development in underserved communities across the country.
