Adelabu Begins Mega Empowerment, Economic Support Programme

The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu is set to commence plans towards his much awaited 2025 Mega Empowerment and Economic Support Program Series which he promised on his 55th birthday celebration in September.

Chief Adelabu made this known on Monday through his media team clearly outlining the program for the three batches of empowerment programs out of the seven previously listed which will commence on the 31st of October, 2025.

The first batch of the series will be the #100million business support grant for traders, artisans and farmers. The event is slated to hold at the Bayo Adelabu Foundation House at Jericho, Ibadan on Friday, 31st of October by 2pm with Mr Olutayo Akinleye, an economic analyst as the guest lecture on the topic – Business and Professional Survival Strategies in a Dynamic Economy.

The second batch of the mega empowerment and economic relief program series will be another N100million economic support for APC Youth, Women and Leaders which will also hold at Bayo Adelabu Foundation House at Jericho on Saturday, 8th of November by 11am with Prof Stephen Lafenwa from the Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan as the guest lecturer on the theme – Beyond Politics: Survival, Strategies for Party Stakeholders.

While the third batch of the mega empowerment and economic relief program series will be a #50 million grant on education and cost of living support for students, widows and physically challenged with Dr Bayonle Busari, a senior lecturer from Lead City University, Ibadan as the guest lecturer on the topic – enriching our educational system through technical and vocational training. The program will also take place on Saturday, the 15th of November, 2025 at the same Bayo Adelabu Foundation House at Jericho in Ibadan.

The three-week long program is designed to draw attendees across different spheres, discipline and demographics of the state covering all the 7 geopolitical zones of Oyo State. It will witness beneficiaries from the market women, small traders and artisans groups as well as small holders farmers association to mention a few.
