Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora Exonerates Minister Of Power From APC Defeat in Ibadan North Bye-Election
The Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora has exonerated Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, from the recent loss of the All Progressives Congress APC, candidate, Honourable Adewale Olatunji Murphy in the just concluded bye-election in Ibadan North federal constituency.
In a statement, the Chief Coordinator, Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora, Bushie Ferrari maintained that the party defeat should not be placed at the door step of an individual, but the entire stakeholders of the party who failed to work for the victory of the candidate.
According to the Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora, the party’s internal divisions and lack of cohesion are major contributors to its defeat in the bye-election.
The group urged party leaders and members to look inward and address their differences rather than engaging in a blame game.
The group underscored the importance of unity in reclaiming the APC’s mandate in Oyo State, particularly with the 2027 elections in view.
According to the Chief Coordinator, Bushie Ferrari, Chief Adelabu’s wealth of experience in governance and public service is well-known, and his contributions to the development of Oyo State cannot be overemphasized.
The Team Adebayo Adelabu-In-Diaspora stressed that only through unity can the party hope to regain the trust and support of the electorate.
The group called on the APC to focus on identifying the root causes of its defeat and working towards a more united and effective campaign strategy for future elections.
