Integrity News Nigeria, a new online newspaper established to deliver accurate, unbiased, and impactful stories that uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity is looking to employ a Managing Editor.

The Ideal Candidate must:

1. Have cognate experience covering both national and international news with bias for investigative journalism.
2. Have at least ten years’ experience in the traditional media with minimum of two years of online journalism experience.
3. Have at least two years experience in a similar role as an editor.
4. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Communication and Language Arts, English or related fields.
5. Be skilled in web publishing
6. Be proficient in English and have the ability to spot errors
7. Demonstrate ability to lead a media team to a business success
8. Be knowledgeable in libel laws and ethical foundations of journalism.
9. Be proficient in current and emerging news-gathering method.
10. Possess interest in local, national and world news with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
11. Possess the ability to work in a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
12. Be a member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) or Online Reporters Association of Nigeria.
