Italian football giant AC Milan will unveil Nigerian star Samuel Chukwueze as their new player later today on a five year deal.

Chukwueze, who is joining the former Serie A winners from Villarreal of Spain, will arrive in Milan to wrap up his transfer papers and will be officially presented to journalists and supporters of the club.

Chukwueze is expected to earn €4m per season after completing his medical on Wednesday.

The contract, according to reports, is worth €20m fee plus €8m add-ons to Villarreal. Chukwueze’s current Villarreal contract was set to expire at the end of the season before his move to Milan was sanctioned.

The 24-year-old Villarreal player won the 2021 Europa League after defeating Manchester United in the final.

Meanwhile, Matteo Gabbia, an Italian central defender, will join Villarreal on loan from AC Milan in a separate deal.

In Serie A, he has played a total of 37 times , accumulating 2,384 minutes of playing time in the top flight of Italian football.
