Hajj: Final batch of Kwara pilgrims arrive Ilorin International Airport 

The final batch of 272 pilgrims who traveled to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for the year 2023 Hajj exercise has arrived.

After successfully completing Hajj rites, the last batch arrived at Ilorin International Airport, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The last batch comprises a total number of 272 pilgrims including the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir among other Board officials.

About 3,549 pilgrims performed this year’s Hajj through the Board.

Families, friends and well-wishers of the pilgrims received them with joy at Ilorin International Airport.

Some of the pilgrims thanked Allah for guiding them through the religious activities in the holy land and ensuring their safe return to Nigeria.

Hajj is one of the best acts of worship in Islam, according to Islamic scholars. It is one of the pillars of Islam with which Allah sent Prophet Muhammad.

There are three types of Hajj: Tamattu’, Ifrad and Qiran.
