Senate Affirms Tunji Olaopa As Chairman Of Federal Civil Service Commission

The Senate has given its nod to the appointments of the chairman and members of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

In October, President Bola Tinubu named Professor Tunji Olaopa as the Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, along with 11 others to oversee the operations of the nation’s civil service starting November 30, 2023.

The Senate has officially affirmed Professor Tunji Olaopa as the chairman, along with the confirmation of Dr. Dauda Jalo, Edet Eyoma, Chamberlain Nwele, Rufus Godwins, and Dr. Adamu Hussein as members of the Commission.

Other confirmed members of the Commission by the Senate include Aminu Nabegu, Hindatu Abdullahi, Shehu Aliyu, Odekunle Rukiyat, Princess Sarah Adebisi, and Dr. Festus Oyebade.
