Eyimba back to winning ways, thrash Plateau United by 2-1

Enyimba International of Aba ended their poor run of form after the Elephants defeated Plateau United 2-1 in the keenly contested Nigeria Professional Football League match.

The eight-time winners have been struggling to record maximum three points in their previous four games before Sunday’s encounter at the Enyimba International Stadium.

Imo Obot gave Enyimba the lead in the 34th minute, while Chukwuemeka Obioma added the second in the 53rd minute.

Obioma has now scored 10 goals for the Peoples Elephants this season.
