Bola Ahmed Tinibu (BAT) Foundation has congratulated the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, on his sixth unprecedented electoral victory as a lawmaker in the state.

In a letter of congratulations sent to the speaker, the group described Obasa’s success at the polls as unique.

The group noted that the 2023 general election might have come and gone but the milestones therein, one of which is Obasa’s victory to represent Agege Constituency I for the sixth term and by almighty’s grace assuredly of his retaining the speakership position of the State House of Assembly for the historic term would forever linger.

The foundation went on to acknowledge Obasa’s effort in being the foremost individual to set up a well-thought-out plan and programs that contributed to the success of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the polls as they declared that history will forever be kind to him.

According to a report, the BAT Foundation championed by Obasa has embarked on several philanthropic and humanitarian projects across the country aimed at promoting the presidential aspirations of the president-elect, Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu since 2021.

The statement jointly signed by the group’s Director-General, Hon Ahmed Omisore and Director, Media & Publicity Barr. Mobolaji Sanusi, read in part: “The recently conducted general elections had come and gone but the milestones embedded in its conduct will forever remain in our collective memory.

“Put succinctly, your unique victory, guaranteeing your sixth term as a resounding legislator, and by the grace of almighty God, your third historic tenure as Speaker remains an indelible milestone of that season.

“Secondly your pioneering efforts at being the first to kickstart through well-planned programmes of public relations/publicity and high-level networking across Nigeria thus making it possible for our Principal to become the preferred Candidate which eventually culminated into his victory at the 2023 Presidential election, shall also go into the history books.

They concluded by praying for Obasa’s unending relevance in the state and beyond as they reechoed their commitment to his cause and that of the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
