The agency also seized a pistol and recovered 6.2 kilograms of abandoned and seized illicit drugs during the operation.
In a statement released by the Commander of Narcotics, NDLEA Ogun State, Ibiba Odili, it was revealed that the joint operation was carried out in collaboration with operatives from the 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army stationed at Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, as well as personnel from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

During the operation, two young men were apprehended with 2.5 kilograms of cannabis sativa, and a significant seizure of 1.5 kilograms of abandoned cannabis sativa was made.
