“I wish you both the very best, God’s guidance, protection, and favour in this new role!! Go kill it. God bless you both.”
Photographers have developed amazing access to the Presidents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria over the years. They are among the inner circle of the presidential team. They go everywhere with the president and his vice. They’re saddled with the responsibility of producing the best of images to portray their principals in a captivating manner.
According to Mark Delong Photography, “The presidential photographer also has an interesting role in that they need to follow the president and record events as they are happening as well as recording the president’s demeanor and reactions to the events that are occurring.”
The president is expected to announce further appointments in the coming days as he takes the mantle of leadership from his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu hit the ground running by announcing the removal of fuel subsidy during his inauguration speech.
Integrity News reported that the president is currently holding a closed door meeting with key officials at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, including his Vice, Kashim Shettima, who had previously assumed responsibility, and House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.
Others are the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN) Godwin Emefiele, the Group Managing Director of the NNPCL, Mele Kyari, and Executive Secretary of Nigeria Midstream and Downstream petroleum Regulatory Authority, Farouk Ahmed, among other top officials.
