Kano loses female pilgrim in Saudi Arabia

A 58-year-old female pilgrim named Hadiza Ismai’il from the Madobi Local Government Area of Kano State has died during the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

According to The Punch, Ismai’il died on Monday at approximately 3:15 pm local time in Saudi Arabia after a brief illness.

It was reported that “She had been suffering from a fever and was promptly taken to the NAHCON hospital for treatment.”

However, due to the severity of her condition, she was transferred to King Abdulaziz Hospital in Mecca, where she was pronounced dead, the report unveiled.

Following a funeral prayer held at the Ka’aba Mosque, Ismai’il was laid to rest in Mecca.

The Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Danbappa, has confirmed this unfortunate incident.

On behalf of Kano State Governor Engineer Abba Yusuf, Danbappa expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant her eternal rest and to provide the family members with the strength to bear this loss.
